Cantina Miglianico, Trebbiano D'Abruzzo 2021

In 1961 Don Vincenzo Pizzica understood that, to avoid the underestimation of local wine by the large producers, it was necessary to form a cooperative. A few years later, in 1966, the associated farmers began producing the first bottles of Cantina Miglianico, and today they are about 300 winemakers strong, managing over 500 hectares of vineyards in the province of Chieti. Trebbiano D'Abruzzo 2021 is made from 100% Trebbiano Toscano. Bursting with notes of zingy apple, peach, honey and stone, it is is pleasantly medium-bodied with a bright acidity. A great pair with hard Italian cheeses like Pecorino, as well as seafood pastas.
